We're lovers of gigs and concerts, we has been watch probably more than 100 shows pressencing to more than 200 bands and projects in Mexico (Mexico City, Puebla, Toluca, Monterrey and recently in the last years in Canada (Toronto). We love any kind of music mainly focus on genres like: metal, rock, hardcore, industrial, progressive, electro, techno, experimental and others. Behemoth unleashes "Nomen Barbarvm" like a ritual of pure darkness. With ritualistic intensity and a production that reeks of fire and sulfur, Nergal and his legion turn the song into a hymn of pagan rebellion and blasphemy elevated to art. The music video for "Ascend," the latest release from Dimmu Borgir, is a visually captivating piece that reaffirms the band's mastery of symphonic extreme metal with a touch of renewed nostalgia. Rather than leaning on a complex linear narrative, the work focuses on an atmospheric and ethereal aesthetic that complements the track’s polished production and orchestral layers. Through cinematography that plays with contrasts of light and shadow, the video captures the group’s signature theatrical essence, striking a balance between black metal aggression and a modern sophistication that feels like a natural evolution of their iconic sound. It is, in essence, a visual statement that the band continues to ascend within its own dark legacy.
The death metal legends Six Feet Under return in full brutal form with their new video “Mister Blood and Guts,” delivering crushing riffs, macabre atmospheres, and cinematic violence inspired by classic late-night horror shows. Featuring a blood-soaked aesthetic and a dark B-movie vibe, the band led by Chris Barnes preserves its extreme essence while unleashing one of the most aggressive tracks from their latest album Next To Die. The video blends chaos, gore, and an old-school horror spirit that proves once again why Six Feet Under remains a mandatory reference in American death metal.
The NEW single "Enter The Cty" is the Devin Townsend's upcoming studio album "Lightwork" which is now available to pre-order in various formats. The record is set for release on November 4th!
Slipknot’s “Arsenal” is a pure visual and sonic assault. Directed by Clown, the video throws Jackson White into a Fellini-style nightmare of red and white ghosts while the masked members appear as pure threat. The imagery locks with Corey’s rage, the brutal riffs and crushing percussion, dragging the band back to its most primal fury. A clip that doesn’t just back the song—it annihilates and elevates it.
Lamb of God just unleashed a true tank with "St. Catherine's Wheel". Sharp riffs that snap your neck, Randy Blythe in full savage mode, and a crushing modern groove that runs you over without mercy. The video is dark, hypnotic, and packed with raw visual violence — turning brutal medieval torture aesthetics into pure contemporary fire. Direct, fierce, and zero filler. This track hits hard.
"I Don't Care" is Tarja's second single taken from her brand-new metal album “Frisson Noir” on 12th June 2026.
The official video for Opeth's §7 is a powerful live performance that captures the band at their peak technical and atmospheric level. Shot in a raw and straightforward style, it shows the five musicians delivering this closing track from the concept album The Last Will and Testament with surgical precision, featuring heavy and progressive riffs, dark grooves, complex rhythmic changes, and the masterful narration by Ian Anderson. The group's chemistry stands out (especially Waltteri Väyrynen's impressive drumming and Joakim Svalberg's keyboard layers), creating a dense and sinister atmosphere that culminates in an ominous and epic outro. It is an honest video, without unnecessary effects, that celebrates Opeth's musical mastery and reinforces why they remain one of the most respected bands in progressive metal.
Marilyn Manson returns with One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, a dark, aggressive, and atmospheric record that recaptures the industrial and gothic essence of his career, with a rawer production and a dramatic vocal performance. The album combines heavy riffs, unsettling atmospheres, and shadowy melodies, presenting Manson as an artist who transforms decay and darkness into creative material. “Sacrilegious,” one of the singles, stands out through its blend of industrial rock and gothic elements, while its provocative themes reaffirm Manson’s ability to turn controversy and religious imagery into part of his artistic vision. One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 marks a powerful return to territory Manson knows exceptionally well: dark, theatrical, uncomfortable, and deeply personal.
Korn's latest single for Diablo IV is a visceral descent into the gothic atmosphere of Sanctuary, seamlessly blending their signature low-tuned riffs and Jonathan Davis’s haunting vocals with the game’s oppressive energy. It’s a powerful collaboration that captures the raw desperation of the franchise, serving as a perfect industrial-metal anthem for any Nephalem facing the hordes of Hell.

NEW SINGLE / ALBUM
CRYPTA reveals its darkest side with “A Portrait of Decay,” taken from their self-titled album released earlier this year. The Brazilian band delivers one of their most brutal releases to date, featuring a truly ferocious vocal performance—probably Fernanda Lira’s finest work yet. We can also appreciate some highly technical and razor-sharp guitar work from Tainá Bergamaschi.
Meanwhile, the outstanding performances of Victoria Villarreal and Luana Dametto—who continues to get better with every release—round out a spectacular production, driven by that brutal blend of death and black metal that simply will not disappoint.
Luana is also involved in the video beyond her role behind the drums, contributing to the screenplay and co-producing the visual. With this single, CRYPTA further establishes itself as one of the most prominent bands in the genre today.
DevilDriver returns with sharpened fangs and no mercy in “Dig Your Own Grave”, the first strike from their new album Strike and Kill. This is not just another groove metal song — it’s a brutal mirror that forces you to stare at yourself without flinching. Dez Fafara doesn’t sing, he sentences. With riffs that cut like shovels through dirt and drums that sound like the heartbeat of guilt, the track drives home an uncomfortable truth many prefer to ignore: one wrong decision, one calculated betrayal, one selfish move in the dead of night… and you’re already digging your own grave. “Six feet ain’t deep enough for you” is not an empty threat — it’s a raw awakening.

Marie Vaunt the Queen of Acid Techno in DPRTMNT in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was totally a great night with a powerful set; since trance, dubstep, dnb, until the awesome electro metal mix. After more than 15 years we had the opportunity to presence a show.
She ended her presentation with an Slipknot mix set, a classic to close the night with energy , an unforgettable experience.
Some about the last "Momentum Dementia" rave outside in the woods in the North of Ontario, Canada. An unforgottable experience full of dance, colors, moves, fire, trips, magic and awesome people.
TRENDCULT / CULTNOISE
The new single by Nytt Land, titled "Hailambi Xulembi", is a deep immersion into the Nordic mysticism and atmospheric dark folk that characterizes the Siberian duo. With hypnotic shamanic percussion and the masterful use of throat singing (Khöömei), the track successfully transports the listener to an ancestral era, evoking images of bonfires and ancient rites under the northern sky. It is a minimalist yet powerful piece that reaffirms their ability to fuse wild nature with a dark, captivating spirituality.
The Phenomenon Duo
The duo describes itself as a “Pythagorean-Cubist Dada-Rock Mantra,” drawing influences from math rock and experimental music, blended with an eclectic and extravagant touch ranging from jazz and rock to a complex style rooted in microtonal music. The Canadian duo maintains its identity under anonymity, identifying themselves only as Khn and Klek (bass and drums, respectively), crafting unconventional compositions that push Dadaism to its absolute limits.
The group currently has two albums, Vol. I and Vol. II. Although the project was formed in 2019, it was not until 2024 that they recorded their first material. More recently, in February of this year, they released their second album, which propelled them into the spotlight through their international tour — particularly following their performance in Rennes, France, and after their appearance on KEXP in Seattle, USA. Angine de Poitrine is a sonic and visual phenomenon that is not easy to digest: for some, it is meaningless chaos; for others, it is one of the greatest revelations of 2026. The duo transforms repetition, visual minimalism, dissonance, and the bizarre into a complete spectacle. Equally fascinating and unavoidable is their use of symbolism — such as the Illuminati triangle, the Eye of Providence, the Holy Trinity, the all-seeing eye, or however one chooses to interpret it — elements that exert a powerful influence on the interaction between the band and its audience.
The musical project of Angine de Poitrine from Quebec is defined by an intense and experimental sound, blending dark atmospheres, electronic textures, and an emotionally raw aesthetic that challenges conventional genre boundaries. Its artistic identity is built upon contrasts between the visceral and the ethereal, creating an immersive listening experience that invites both introspection and sensory provocation, establishing the project as a distinctive force within the alternative underground scene.

In the last months we assited to some metal concerts and gigs to watch to Static-X, GWAR, ENTHEOS, Fallujah, The Zenith Passage and Kittie at the HISTORY, LEE'S PALACE and the Danford Music Hall in Toronto. We want to share some VIDEOS and photos with you.
Last year we had the opportunity to watch to the CRYPTA Death Metal band from Brazil in The Garrison in Toronto, Canada. We meet to the front leader vocalist and bassit Fer Lira.
We watched for third ocassion to Static-X, this time in HISTORY HALL in Toronto, Canada (one of them with Wayne Wells in Mexico City and twice with XERO)

During World War II, the Germans used to say that when everything is over, art is what remains. They were right. Perhaps that is where the hope of the world lies—in art, in the cultural expression that makes us human. Some people say that being in Mexico is like living in a dream filled with fever and hallucinations. Dalí refused to visit the country, claiming that it was simply too surreal, even for the painter himself. It is the autumn of 2026, and Mexico is still defeating AI (Artificial Intelligence).
Mike Patton, the former vocalist of “Faith No More” and “Mr. Bungle” (also involved in bands and projects such as Tomahawk, The Dillinger Escape Plan, Fantômas, Moonchild Trio, Kaada/Patton, Dead Cross, Lovage, Mondo Cane, the X-ecutioners, The Avett Brothers, and Peeping Tom) visited Mexico with “Mondo Cane,” an orchestral project featuring more than 50 musicians, based on his 2010 self-titled album and featuring classic Italian pop songs from the 1950s and 1960s.
Patton performed at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City and at the International Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, during its 54th edition, where Mike delivered an outstanding performance thanks to his musical versatility and extraordinary vocal range. The audience had the opportunity to experience a truly unique concert, enjoying Mike’s professionalism, dedication, and artistic commitment.
Just when it seemed the night might be coming to an end, Patton surprised the audience by paying tribute to renowned Mexican composer Álvaro Carrillo with a performance of “Luz de Luna,” and honoring the legendary Juan Gabriel with the song “Hasta que te conocí”—the very song with which the “Divo de Juárez” had triumphed at that majestic venue. Accompanied by a string ensemble and Mariachi Gama 2000, Patton brought the evening to a spectacular close.
Mike Patton received a standing ovation, and flowers were even thrown onto the stage. Patton himself said that he wanted to cry, clearly overwhelmed and moved by the magnificent reception and the majesty of the performance.
